Cecil Journey Scholarship application offered by WNC Communities. High school seniors in the Fines Creek Community who are eligible for the Journey Scholarship are also eligible for the FCCA scholarship and are encouraged to apply for both. Instructions on how to apply for the FCCA scholarship are located on page 3 of the Journey Scholarship under Applying for other Community Club scholarships https://wnccommunities.org/journey-scholarship/

Fines Creek Community Association (FCCA) awards as many annual $500 ($250 per semester) scholarships as FCCA funds allow. This award is available to any eligible student in the Fines Creek Community (Fines Creek, Panther Creek, White Oak and Waterville). The Fines Creek Community is defined by the area within the attendance lines for the former Fines Creek School. An eligible student is one who is completing his/her last year of high school and is planning to attend college the following fall. The FCCA helps students with four-year scholarships but reserves the right to limit any scholarship to two years in order to support additional applicants.
